Ruppert Landscape seeks an Assistant Field Manager to support the Field Manager in managing labor and materials on contracted maintenance and snow removal projects. The role emphasizes developing personnel and ensuring projects stay on budget and renewals remain strong.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill and ability to manage others.
• Demonstrated skill and ability to work with service customers.
• At least one year of experience doing contract maintenance in a commercial setting.
• Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees and two years of industry experience.
• Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease problems and schedule treatment.
• Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record over the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of branch goals and financial position.
• Develop the people reporting to them.
• Attend or conduct certification training sessions regularly.
• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.
• Understand budget hours and monitor job hours and costs; communicate budget hours to crewmembers.
• Monitor quality of work and address issues with customers.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order.
