Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Assistant Field Manager to support field managers in overseeing labor and materials for contract maintenance and snow removal projects. The role includes developing team members, ensuring projects meet budgets, and maintaining strong customer coordination.

The position emphasizes supervision, safety, and equipment upkeep, with opportunities to advance through training and certification programs within a family‑oriented landscape management team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing others in a field or crew setting.
• Ability to work with service customers and address concerns.
• At least one year of contract maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record over the last three years.
• Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of branch goals and financial position.
• Get to know team members and foster their development.
• Participate in certification training sessions regularly.
• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production on contracts.
• Understand hourly and cost budgets; monitor job hours and costs; communicate budget hours to crew.
• Inspect jobs daily and raise issues to customers when needed.
• Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in good working order.
