Merakey in Chico, CA is hiring an Assistant Administrator to support the facility Administrator in the day program operations. The role is full-time with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Friday shift and pays $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, helping with budgeting, interviewing and hiring, and developing Individual Service Plans with the Inter-Disciplinary Team. This position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Verifiable High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must have at least 1 years of LEAD DSP experience in residential or day program with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Stands in for facility Administrator during absence.
• Provides on-the-job training and supervision to all support staff.
• Assist in the annual development and implementation of facility budget.
• Assist in the interviewing and hiring of new employees.
• Develop Individual Service Plans with the assistance of the Inter-Disciplinary Team.
• Provide Instructors with on-going in-service trainings.
• Organize and chair meetings with client’s and their representatives semi-annually or as needed.
• Possess crisis management skills.
• Possess problem solving capabilities.
