Job summary

Hope Haven Inc. is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Facilities Manager in maintaining our facilities, grounds, vehicles, equipment, and assets across residential, office, and outreach locations in Charlotte, NC.

You will perform preventative maintenance, oversee light construction and repairs, manage work orders, coordinate maintenance trainees, and promote safe work practices while ensuring compliance and a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates or trade cert preferred.
• 3+ years in facilities maintenance, operations, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, safety practices, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining buildings, grounds, and assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Oversee light construction, repairs, and facility improvements.
• Manage work orders, coordinate trainee development, and ensure safety.
