Job summary

HOPE Church is seeking a Facilities Associate to keep the building and grounds clean, safe, and functional to advance our mission. You will work with volunteers and the Facilities Team to organize spaces, perform light maintenance, and ensure readiness for events.

Responsibilities include snow/ice clearing in winter, weed patrol in summer, coordinating with staff on facility needs, and supporting custodial operations while modeling integrity and teamwork in a dynamic ministry setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic ministry environment.
• Experience recruiting and training volunteers.
• Respond to crisis situations calmly and confidently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and community.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain areas inside and outside the church property.
• Assist in preparing spaces for events.
• Organize custodial storage areas and supplies.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs (light bulbs, paint touch ups).
• Work with volunteers and communicate facility needs weekly.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Team on repairs and projects.
