Your new role

As a facilities manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our properties, ensuring they are impeccably maintained and run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and renovations, handling tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in budgeting and financial reporting, ensuring the profitability of our properties. The position also works with the property manager to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state and federal laws.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Minimum 3 years leading in a building service or mixed with property management
  2. Strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.
  3. Excellent communication and correspondence with diverse personnel.
  4. Respond to tenant inquiries and dispatch calls as needed.
  5. Track and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  6. Follow up with vendors and assist with monthly and quarterly property reports.
  7. Collaborate with property manager and accountant to collect rents and assessments.
  8. Prepare tenant notices for projects, meetings, and events.
  9. Ensure budgeted projects are completed and tracked by the maintenance team.
  10. Conduct building inspections and vendor site walks.
  11. Assist in bid processes and manage building access cards/badges.
  12. Maintain Property Management Tracker and key control systems.
  13. Onboard new tenants and conduct final walk-through inspections.
  14. Available after-hours for emergency assistance within the portfolio.
  15. Proven self-starter that consistently delivers to outcome specifications
  16. Proven experience of operating in a similar role and environment.
  17. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  18. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  19. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  20. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
