The Opportunity

The Facilities Specialist maintains restaurant facilities through preventative maintenance and repairs, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects at the market level.
2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs during site visits.
3. Develop preventative maintenance schedules for equipment including cooking appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration.
4. Follow safety procedures during facility issues to protect staff and customers.
5. Train restaurant staff on maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of facility maintenance.
7. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and landlords for repairs and upgrades.
8. Support new store openings and turnover processes.
9. Report on maintenance activities and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

1. Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
2. Understanding of safety regulations related to facilities.
3. Ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize tasks.
4. Effective communication and training skills.
5. Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
6. B.A./B.S. in relevant field or equivalent experience; 2+ years in facilities maintenance preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
