Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for Makoto at Grand Hyatt Vail. Lead daily restaurant operations, coach front-of-house staff, and uphold Hyatt service standards in a luxury dining environment.

You will report to the Makoto General Manager and collaborate with culinary leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive performance in a high-volume setting.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience within Food & Beverage.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests.
• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced, upscale setting.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with purchasing and inventories, and cost control.

Aufgaben

• Support the General Manager in the daily operation of Makoto Vail.
• Lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Ensure all colleagues deliver Hyatt service standards and guest experiences.
• Coach and motivate front-of-house teams to achieve service excellence.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of restaurant staff.
• Support scheduling and labor management to meet productivity goals.
• Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, aiming for satisfaction and recovery.
• Assist with promotions, events, and outlet initiatives.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seamless communication of offerings.
• Participate in inventory management and cost containment initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt standards, regulations, and food safety procedures.
