Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a single restaurant or group of restaurants at an Eataly location. Reports to the F&B Manager of Restaurants.

The role requires hands-on leadership to maximize profitability while upholding the company’s mission, values and guest experience standards. You will hire, train and coach staff, manage inventory, and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless events and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience managing a large restaurant staff.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and team-building skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Italian cuisine and wine highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operations of the restaurant to maximize profitability and guest experience.
• Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates team members as necessary.
• Provides coaching and feedback to team members for growth.
• Manages inventory levels and replenishes goods and operating materials.
• Collaborates interdepartmentally and with corporate for events and information.
• Documents, investigates and resolves incidents involving employees or guests.
• Maintains hospitality towards guests and staff.
• Performs other duties as required.
