Job summary

LBI National Golf & Resort is a premier destination offering a championship golf course, dining, weddings, and resort-style hospitality. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will lead a talented team across golf, dining, and events, shaping the F&B program and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in F&B or related management, strong leadership, and a passion for hospitality in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of F&B, restaurant, banquet, hotel, golf club, or resort management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supervising and developing hourly employees.
• Food, wine, beer, and spirits knowledge.
• Inventory management and purchasing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Food & Beverage team.
• Oversee daily restaurant and golf concession operations.
• Help execute weddings, banquets, golf outings, and special events.
• Manage beverage purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Drive food, beverage, and labor cost controls.
• Develop service standards that create memorable guest experiences.
• Work closely with culinary, banquet, golf, sales, and resort leadership.
• Troubleshoot challenges and keep operations running smoothly.
• Help grow and elevate the overall Food & Beverage program.
