Job summary

LBI National Golf and Resort in Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ, is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to assist the Golf Operations Manager and serve guests in the Pro Shop. The role requires basic knowledge of golf operations and guest service, with experience using Golf Genius Tournament Software and Lightspeed Tee Sheet Software preferred.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the shop, handling greens fees, recording tee-times, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf operations or customer service.
• Familiar with Golf Genius Tournament Software and Lightspeed Tee Sheet Software.
• PGA Associate Student in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Golf Operations Manager in daily golf course operations and guest service.
• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Open the register, distribute radios and t-sheets to staff.
• Keep the golf shop clean and orderly throughout the day.
• Collect greens fees from each golfer.
• Answer questions concerning the golf course, including layout and tee-time availability.
• Record tee-times throughout the day.
• Close out and balance the register at the end of the day.
• Secure all doors and arm the burglar alarm for the golf shop.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Essential Responsibilities

The role of the Golf Shop Attendant is to assist the Golf Operations Manager in golf course operations and service the guests who call or visit the Pro Shop.

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
• Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Opening the register, and distributing radios and t-sheets to the staff scheduled to work.
• Keeping the golf shop clean and orderly throughout the day (making sure the floors are vacuumed during the day and each night before leaving).
• Collecting Greens Fees from each golfer.
• Answering questions concerning the golf course including layout, speed of greens, condition, membership, daily rates, and tee-time availability.
• Recording tee-times throughout the day.
• Closing out and balancing the register at the end of the day.
• Securing all doors and arming the burglar alarm for the golf shop.
• Must be able to lift at least a minimum of 50 lbs.
