Job summary

America's Best in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee the eyeglass department, drive sales, and lead a team of optical associates. You will monitor profit, review P&L data, and ensure adherence to company policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role you will forecast staffing, recruit and retain a high-caliber staff, coordinate promotions, and supervise opticians and sales staff to meet daily goals and maintain compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience and supervisory ability.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills for team development.
• Strong understanding of store operations and sales targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to analyze financial performance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and train associates to do the same.
• Review quality, remakes, and enforce company standards.
• Report to General Manager/District Manager and manage store reporting.
• Manage promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales staff; support staffing needs.
• Recruit, select, and retain qualified staff; forecast staffing.
• Drive performance and ensure compliance with licensing where applicable.
