Ascent Hospitality in Gulfport, MS is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead daily housekeeping operations, ensure guest room and public area cleanliness, and uphold brand standards and safety.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisor or manager experience in a hotel, strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to train staff and coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or managerial experience in a hospitality setting.
• Experience in a hotel is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory and scheduling.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of staff.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and service standards for guest rooms and public spaces.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Manage inventory control for linens and supplies.
• Lead opening/closing procedures for housekeeping as needed.
• Inspect rooms daily for brand standards and readiness.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance and Laundry teams.
• Assist with training and upholding brand culture.
