Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Gulfport is seeking a House Attendant to maintain guest floors and public spaces. You will support room attendants and may assist with laundry and pool areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

Strong English communication, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset are essential. The role requires physical activity and the ability to work flexible shifts in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, vacuums hallways, lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork and fixtures.
• Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork.
• Washes windows and sills.
• Maintain Public area cleanliness (restrooms).
• Transports trash to disposal area.
• Stock Room Attendant carts with linen and supplies.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting and moving of furniture.
• May assist with maintenance and pool cleaning.
