What does the role entail?

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists in overseeing the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. This role requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies, pars, and adherence to safety and security policies. Experience with turndown service and catering to VIP guests, including foreign dignitaries, is beneficial. Responsibilities may include staff training, development, and scheduling. The goal is to promote an environment that ensures customer and staff satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and demands strong attention to detail and effective communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

Your experience:

• A genuine desire to satisfy others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience.
• Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
• Hotel/Hospitality degree is a plus.
• Strong qualities such as high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Opera & Reserve systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

• Physical stamina to lift moderate weights and stand/walk for extended periods.
