Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Assistant Estimator to support estimators and project managers by quantifying take-offs, sourcing subcontractor quotes, and assembling bid package data. This role contributes to proposals and project development while maintaining organized estimating documentation.

You will collaborate with the estimating team to ensure alignment with project scope and requirements, enabling accurate and timely bids.

Qualifications

Quantify take-offs from project specifications, drawings, and documents.
Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes.
Develop and organize bid package estimate documents.
Maintain files of working documents for backup to estimating assumptions.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed data quantity take-offs based on project specs and drawings for data entry into estimating system.
Identify suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes.
Assist in developing and organizing bid package estimate documents.
Maintain backup files of estimating assumptions and methodologies.
Distribute bidding documents to sub-contractors and vendors as directed by the Estimator.
Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure estimates align with project scope.
