Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role.
• Experience with project bidding, budgeting, value engineering, MTO, and cost analysis.
• Proficient in construction processes, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects to aid in bidding and budgeting.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand requirements and timelines.
• Analyze project designs and specs to determine costs.
• Compute material take-offs (MTO) for accurate quantities.
• Conduct cost analyses and value engineering to identify savings.
• Participate in negotiations with contractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
• Monitor market prices to secure best deals on supplies.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to stakeholders.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of project costs and market information.
• Ensure compliance with company estimating standards and procedures.
