Job summary

Jobot in Salem, MA seeks an Estimator to own the preconstruction process from budgeting to award. You will review plans, build accurate estimates, and collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to craft competitive bids.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction, a related bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and proficiency in reading blueprints. On-site work with competitive compensation and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Build and submit detailed proposals including budgeting, scheduling, and execution approach.
• Manage subcontractor ITBs and relationships.
• Perform scope takeoffs and subcontractor leveling.
• Support project buyout and post‑award contracting.
• Analyze drawings and specs for cost implications.
