Job description

As an Assistant Preconstruction Manager / Estimator, you will help prepare cost estimates for commercial construction projects across a wide variety of market sectors. You will work with the Senior Estimator and Project Managers to organize pricing information and support accurate project proposals.

We are partnered with an Alabama-based General Contractor and Construction Manager that focuses on delivering noteworthy projects across the local market. They do not niche themselves towards any particular sector, instead focusing on a diverse range of project types such as Education, Hospitality, Government, and even Industrial. They have two offices and around 100 employees including field staff.

At a high level, they're known for being a relationship-driven builder with a hands‑on approach, working closely with clients from early concept through completion to manage cost, schedule, and overall project execution.

Culturally, this company is known for exceeding what people traditionally consider the norm in Construction. They truly care about their people, and provide competitive benefits and clear career progression to maintain a very low turnover rate across the business.
