Job summary

Four Seasons in Colorado seeks an Assistant Engineering Manager to support the Chief Engineer across hotel and building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and interior work. You will help plan, organize, and direct engineering requests to ensure guest comfort and safety in a luxury setting.

You will lead maintenance staff, train and evaluate performance, coordinate with contractors, and respond promptly to inquiries to maintain operational excellence and guest

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engineering trades related to hospitality.
• Technical knowledge of building maintenance and engineering trades.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Good communication skills are a necessity in this role.
• Fluency in English is required for this location; US work authorization is required.
• Spanish language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects.
• Assist in training, supervision, counseling, scheduling and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff.
• Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors who provide reliable 24‑hour emergency services.
• Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
