Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Miami Beach, seeks an experienced Residential Assistant Director of Engineering to lead and oversee all engineering operations for the property. You will manage plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety systems, while guiding energy initiatives and life/safety compliance.

You’ll collaborate with the Director of Engineering to ensure smooth daily operations, drive preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors for capital projects

Qualifications

• Professional engineering degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations for interior/exterior facilities
• Manage Life/Fire safety systems and energy/green initiatives
• Assist Director of Engineering in Residential operations
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and plans
• Coordinate with outside contractors for common space maintenance
• Ensure safety procedures and staff training
• Prepare annual maintenance plans and budgets
