Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex systems, and coordinate with contractors to support renovations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of building maintenance experience, strong knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration, and proven ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance or engineering, preferably in hospitality or a similar environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Trade school certification or technical training (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related field).
• Professional certifications in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventive maintenance of all equipment and update logs.
• Repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related equipment.
• Diagnose, service, and repair complex building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot advanced equipment issues involving motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and control systems.
• Execute and lead preventive maintenance tasks with documentation and logs.
• Perform installations, modifications, and upgrades of electrical and mechanical systems; support renovation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Respond to guest and operational service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors, providing technical oversight when specialized work is required.
• Support and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.
