Jobot is seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to support planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This role collaborates with Project Managers, field leadership, clients, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Candidates with at least two years of construction field or office experience will also be considered.
• Electrical construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple electrical construction projects from planning through completion.
• Meet regularly with Project Managers to review schedules, budgets, staffing, and project progress.
• Assist with project budgets, monthly projections, billings, and receivables; maintain accurate documentation and change orders.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
• Work closely with field leaders to support staffing needs and daily project execution.
• Help price change orders and gather information for proposals.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Identify potential project risks and assist with solutions.
• Support compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Assist with estimating projects as needed.
• Learn and utilize project management and estimating systems (Accubid, COINS, Autodesk Build).
• Help maintain existing client relationships and identify future opportunities.
• Promote a positive, accountable, team-focused environment.
