Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Morristown, NJ seeks an Assistant Electrical Engineer to support project teams across power, process, healthcare, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government and military facilities. Responsibilities

Assist in electrical design from conceptual phase through design completion.
Assist with modifying and reviewing production drawings for diverse projects (power plants, process facilities, healthcare, airports, education, commercial, government and military facilities).
Assist in designing electrical components per project managers' requirements.
Apply basic knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes and procedures.
Assist with research and compiling project data for managers.
Assist with updating CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and related software.
Assist in client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration.
Assist in field inspections, measurements or calculations for clients.
Comply with company policies and standards.
