Job summary

Pier 7 Marina in Edgewater, MD is seeking a friendly dockhand to support daily operations on the South River. You will assist the Dock Master, greet boaters, manage slip reservations, and help maintain docks and facilities.

This in-person role offers a close-knit boating community and opportunities to grow in the field, with a welcoming crew and Chesapeake lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Passion for boating and great customer service.
• Marina, dockhand, or related experience preferred.
• Physically able to handle lines and walk docks in all weather; reliable team player.
• Boating basics (knots, VHF, boating license, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pier 7 Marina is a gated, full-service marina on the South River in Edgewater, Maryland. We're known for deep-water slips, easy Chesapeake Bay access, and a welcoming atmosphere—perfect for catamarans and all kinds of boats.

• Support the Dock Master with daily operations: arrivals, departures, pump-outs, and slip assignments
