• Proven knowledge of student leadership and orientation programs.
• Experience advising student groups and programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and oversight for Student Programming, New Student Orientation, Engagement Ambassadors, and Community Service.
• Ensure quality programs with educational, social, cultural, and service components.
• Manage, hire, train, and evaluate Student Engagement Ambassadors (minimum 10 workers).
• Develop, plan, and implement New Student Orientation activities.
• Create programs that foster student learning and development.
• Assess student learning outcomes across programs and services.
• Negotiate and review contracts for Student Involvement programs.
• Assist with campus-wide programming and departmental initiatives.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, policy enforcement, and reporting.
• Maintain professional conduct and support division and university missions.
• Develop plans to achieve student satisfaction and retention goals.
• Advocate for student needs and interests.
• Assist with departmental assessments and annual reports.
• Maintain policies and procedures for the department.
• Serve on committees and be available for campus emergencies.
