Job summary

The Center for Student Involvement Assistant Director will provide strategic vision and direct oversight of Student Programming, New Student Orientation, Student Engagement Ambassadors, and Community Service at Lynn University.

This role requires a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration or equivalent and 4–10 years of progressive student affairs leadership, with strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 4–10 years of progressive student affairs management experience.
• Experience advising student groups and/or student programming.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and direct oversight for Student Programming, New Student Orientation, Student Engagement Ambassadors, and Community Service at Lynn University.
• Hire, train, and evaluate the Student Engagement Ambassador team (approx. 10 students).
• Develop, plan, and assess programs and learning outcomes related to student involvement.
• Negotiate and review contracts for programs offered by Student Involvement.
• Assist with campus-wide programming efforts and major departmental initiatives.
• Assist in managing facilities, enforcing policy, and coordinating events.
