Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania's Penn Engineering Development and Alumni Relations team seeks an Assistant Director of Stewardship to advance donor relations through writing, reporting, and program coordination. You will manage gift acknowledgments, create stewardship reports, support events, and develop donor-focused communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other tools.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role requiring meticulous attention to detail and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of stewardship, donor relations, or related communications experience.
• Exceptionally strong writing, editing, proofreading, interviewing, and research skills; ability to translate complex information into clear messages.
• Proven project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gift acknowledgments and donor correspondence; draft, edit, proofread, and track communications for major gifts and milestones.
• Stewardship reporting and donor impact materials; gather data and develop accessible, meaningful reports.
• Support Development and Alumni Relations initiatives, including events and special projects; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
