Job summary

University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton External Affairs seeks an Associate Director of Stewardship Operations to drive donor relations processes and analytics. The role partners with the Stewardship Director and Donor Relations to support reporting, acknowledgments, and continuous improvement across Wharton's fundraising programs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of fundraising experience, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail in managing audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
• 2–3 years of fundraising and development experience, preferably with stewardship/donor relations involved.
• Excellent research, analytical and execution skills with ability to learn and adapt systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze donor relations activities and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement (donor impact reports, acknowledgments, letters of gratitude).
• Audit funds, maintain records for endowed/term donor funds, support reporting, analytics and outreach.
• Collaborate with Principal Gift, Development and research colleagues to share fund information while maintaining privacy standards.
• Assess donor activities across giving levels and areas to enhance stewardship and fundraising.
