Job summary

Creighton University in Omaha seeks a dedicated academic services professional for PARC to support student-athletes' academic success. You will counsel, monitor progress, coordinate tutoring, assist with enrollment, and generate reports across multiple sports.

This 12-month, non-tenure track, exempt role reports to the Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Support Services and will work with women's soccer and men's basketball, collaborating with campus partners for student-athlete

Qualifications

• Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality.
• 3+ years of experience in a higher education setting, preferably NCAA Division I.
• Experience interacting with student-athletes, faculty, and coaching staffs.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Strong public relations, organizational, and program management skills.
• Knowledge of computerized student records; familiarity with spreadsheets.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
• Ability to work weekends and evening hours; travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support academic progress of student-athletes and monitor degree progress.
• Develop relationships and assist with learning strategies, goal setting, and time management.
• Coordinate tutoring services, enrollment assistance, and academic reporting.
• Liaise with campus offices and athletic staff to provide resources for academic and athletic success.
• Coordinate proctoring of exams for student-athletes missing class due to competition or travel.
• Oversee Academic Resource Center operations and tutoring program administration.
• Create and distribute weekly academic reports to coaches and staff.
• Support recruitment materials and NCAA eligibility certification tasks.
