Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director's absence, you will assume sole responsibility for the school and support the social, physical, and intellectual development of children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of Assistant Director experience in licensed child care facility.
• Associates degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
• Must have NC Level 1, 2 or 3 credential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operated safely and effectively in accordance with standards.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility
• Associates degree in ECE or related field is preferred
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the North Carolina level 1, 2, or 3 credential
