Job summary

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work seeks an Assistant Director of Peer Support Initiatives to lead PATH Peer Support programs statewide, develop curricula, supervise the Peer Coordinator Team, and coordinate coaching and CQI efforts with Medicaid providers.

The role collaborates with stakeholders to design training curricula, establish skill competencies, and promote a trauma-informed, community-centered approach across PATH initiatives in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field; three years of Behavioral Health Services supervisory/management experience.
• Three years of experience providing services and training related to peer support delivery or implementation.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities for program oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to PATH Peer Support Initiatives and CQI efforts.
• Collaborate to design training curricula and establish peer staff competencies.
• Supervise Peer Coordinator Team and coordinate statewide training delivery.
• Foster trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary training across providers and partners.
• Monitor training effectiveness and integrate evaluation feedback into programs.
