Assistant Director, Packaging
Reporting to the Associate Director, Packaging and Loans, the Assistant Director is responsible for overseeing the financial aid packaging process, ensuring compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations, as well as institutional packaging guidelines. This role involves packaging batches of students through an automated process, as well as manual packaging students on an individual basis. The Assistant Director will provide direct supervision to the Financial Support Coordinator, Loans. This position also processes post-packaging reports, over-award reports, third party reports, uncashed warrants, death protocols, less than half time reports, and loan checklists and service indicators. This position will serve as a backup for loan certifying processes. The Assistant Director works with the systems team to set up and test the batch packaging process annually. This position assists with developing and updating all policies and procedures related to packaging and other responsibilities to ensure alignment with federal regulations and institutional goals.
Administer and oversee the awarding and packaging of federal financial aid. Perform both mass and manual packaging processes to ensure students receive accurate and timely financial aid offers inaccordance with federal regulations, as well as institutional policies and guidelines. Review and resolve complex packaging scenarios and collaborate with staff to support the effective delivery of student aid.
