Reporting to the Associate Director, Packaging and Loans, the Assistant Director is responsible for overseeing the financial aid packaging process, ensuring compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations, as well as institutional packaging guidelines. This role involves packaging batches of students through an automated process, as well as manual packaging students on an individual basis. The Assistant Director will provide direct supervision to the Financial Support Coordinator, Loans. This position also processes post-packaging reports, over-award reports, third party reports, uncashed warrants, death protocols, less than half time reports, and loan checklists and service indicators. This position will serve as a backup for loan certifying processes. The Assistant Director works with the systems team to set up and test the batch packaging process annually. This position assists with developing and updating all policies and procedures related to packaging and other responsibilities to ensure alignment with federal regulations and institutional goals.
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum two years of professional work experience and/or two years of financial aid experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

5 or more years working in higher education financial aid administration, specifically with Title IV funds and private loan administration.
