Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks an Assistant Director of Operations to lead the Professional Services Central Billing Office. You will manage AR teams, provide analytical support to senior leadership, and analyze open receivables and payer denials.
The role drives standardization, process improvements, and operational excellence across OB/GYN practice sites. The ideal candidate brings 4-6 years of healthcare operations leadership, a healthcare admin degree, and a masters.

The Assistant Director of Operations will lead and direct the operations of the Professional Services Central Billing Office (CBO). The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct management of the Accounts Receivables (A/R) management teams including operations managers and accounting clerks. He/she will provide analytical support to senior leadership and provide analysis of open receivables and payer denials.
Direct the operations of the central business office of Professional Services with primary focus on accounts receivable management.
Develop new processes to streamline and automate AR follow up and insurance verification.
Document and oversee implementation of written operating procedures for the department.
