Care Initiatives is seeking a seasoned RN to join as Assistant Director of Nursing in Iowa. This leadership role supports the Director of Nursing, leads nursing staff, and drives compliant, high-quality care across our 40+ skilled nursing communities.

You will coach RNs, ensure policy adherence, and participate in on-call leadership rotations while focusing on resident safety and regulatory compliance through teamwork and empathy.

Formación

• Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa or activatable in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership clinical team.
• Strong commitment to empathy, respect and discretion in care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and propose solutions.
• Enforce policies and guide the team for growth.
• Coach RNs to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency.
• Communicate with residents and families about care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with leadership team.
