Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) (Education)

Hickory Creek at Greensburg is now hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS)

Registered Nurse

The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice. In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS), the ADNS develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and the facility's philosophy of care, ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws, as well as corporate policies and procedures.

Skills Needed

  1. Leadership: A desire to inspire and motivate clinical staff and foster a positive work environment.
  2. Staff Development: Willingness to coach and mentor clinical staff.
  3. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and resident families.
  4. Clinical Knowledge: A solid foundation of nursing knowledge and skills, maintaining compliance with company, Federal, and State standards.

Requirements

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  2. Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
