The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for resident care according to professional standards of nursing practice. In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS), the ADNS develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and the facility's philosophy of care, ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
