Job summary

Cherrydale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, VA seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to coordinate and oversee patient care across three shifts.

You will ensure compliance with nursing policies, supervise unit staff, and report to the Director of Nursing, with support from corporate nursing consultants. Typical hours are Monday–Friday days, with some weekend and on-call duties, offering a rewarding chance to impact lives.

Qualifications

• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure by Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long-term care.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, assess, and monitor quality and efficiency of patient care outcomes for all three shifts on each unit.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care policies, procedures, systems and processes; manage and supervise unit nursing staff.
• Report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with corporate nursing consultants for ongoing training and support.
• Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.
