Job summary
Cherrydale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, VA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing care across all shifts, ensuring quality patient outcomes and compliance with policies. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and is supported by corporate nursing consultants; typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift with some weekend and on-call duties.

Qualifications
- RN degree is required.
- BSN preferred for this role.
- Current Virginia Board of Nursing licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, assess, and monitor quality and efficiency of patient care across all unit shifts.
- Ensure compliance with nursing care policies, procedures, systems, and processes; supervise unit nursing staff.
- Report to the Director of Nursing and coordinate with corporate nursing consultants for training and support.
- Typical hours: Monday–Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.
