Qualifications

• Current license with VA Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• One year of previous experience preferred.
• Management/leadership experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and supervises nursing staff in accordance with state, federal, and MFA guidelines.
• Communicates patient status to the Unit Manager.
• Assists in the supervision, orientation, and training of the nursing staff. Participates in the patient care planning conference with other disciplines.
• Identifies patient goals and approaches.
