Position Summary

Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing and delivering nursing services, including planning, organization, supervision, and evaluation of care. Ensure compliance with regulations and implementation of nursing programs. Maintain records and reports on resident care. Train nursing staff. Manage the Nursing department budget in DON's absence. Follow all policies and procedures. Subject to on-call rotation.

This is a working manager position, requiring time on the floor with residents and staff.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Current RN license with the state.
• Good financial and management skills. Flexibility for work schedule and occasional overnight travel. Ability to positively relate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff. Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Meets health requirements. Basic computer skills with aptitude for learning company applications. Proficiency in Microsoft products.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Post-acute care or healthcare experience preferred.
