Summary of position

Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing nursing services, including planning, organization, supervision, and evaluation. Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain resident care records, train nursing staff, manage the department within budget, and follow policies. Subject to on-call rotation. This is a working manager role, requiring time on the floor with residents and staff.

Requirements of the position

Required Education and Experience

• Current RN license with the state
• Good financial and management skills, flexible schedule, occasional overnight travel
• Positive, effective communication with residents, families, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meet health requirements
• Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning company applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Subject to call schedule

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Post-acute care or healthcare experience preferred
