Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Bastrop, TX is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help ensure high-quality care and support the Director of Nurses in managing the nursing department. The ADON will assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating clinical services, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate with physicians, families, and the care team.

Qualified applicants have an RN credential, Texas RN licensure, and at least 3 years of SNF experience;

Qualifications

• Must have completed an RN program at an accredited school.
• Texas RN licensure required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• RUG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nurses in planning, developing, organizing and directing daily nursing functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care to ensure continuity of services.
• Communicate with attending physicians, medical director, and families as needed.
• Assist in recruitment, hiring and training of nursing staff and develop staff schedules.
