Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at the Fort Worth Transitional Care Center. The ADON will assist the Director of Nurses in planning, directing and evaluating day-to-day nursing operations to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role requires an RN license in Texas, completion of an accredited RN program, and at least 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, with a preference for RUG certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills within a nursing department.
• Ability to communicate with physicians, families, and staff to ensure quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing day-to-day nursing functions in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff; develop work assignments and schedules.
