Job summary

Parkway Health care center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee the nursing department, manage staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and experience with MDS/care plans in a Medicare/ Medicaid setting.

Responsibilities include policy development, staff performance monitoring, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans while upholding HIPAA and resident rights.

Qualifications

• RN license required in MO state.
• Previous DON or ADON experience preferred.
• Experience with MDS, care plans, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff

• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements:

MO REGISTERED NURSE LICENSURE REQUIRED

• Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.

• Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents

• Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
