Job description

The Greens at Hendersonville is currently looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), an energetic, caring, and compassionate candidate, an RN with Long Term Care experience, that will provide continuing guidance to our nursing team. Looking for an opportunity to grow and develop as a leader in the Long Term Care industry.

$12,000 SIGN ON BONUS paid out within your first year

As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) your duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department.
  2. Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel.
  3. Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes that provide instruction and ensure a well-educated nursing department while keeping up with Federal and State educational requirements.
  4. Monitor and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner.
  5. Schedule and facilitate care plan conferences and monthly QM meetings.
  6. Manage the Care Planning Process.
  7. Assist in developing, presenting, and evaluating education and training for employees.
  8. Implement infection prevention education, including vaccinations and collaboration with other healthcare professionals within and outside of the facility.

Assisting the Director of Nursing (ADON) in the overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices, and government regulations, so as to maintain quality care.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Current RN license required.
  2. Experience in Long-Term Care settings.
  3. 3 years management experience preferred.
  4. Excellent Communication Skills required.
  5. Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
  6. Flexible hours required.
