Qualifications

• Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must have experience in clinical and progressive leadership.
• Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or long term care/ skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, including daily rounding, coaching, and mentoring.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident care and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, families, and residents to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of respect.
