Adept Rehab and Nursing of Omaha is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations and ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care.

Ideal candidates are RNs with prior leadership experience in long-term care and a commitment to resident dignity. This role offers meaningful leadership opportunities and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Nebraska RN license is required.
• Experience supervising or managing nursing staff is required.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is required.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and state reporting requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing plans of correction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with managing daily nursing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys developing staff, improving resident care, and building a positive workplace. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

• Assist the Director of Nursing with managing daily nursing operations.

• Ability to educate and support employees across all shifts.

• Infection Preventionist training preferred; training may be provided.
