$85,000 to $95,000 depending on licensure and experience

Join our team as a Clinical Team Leader at our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is a process-oriented professional who works directly with the Director of Nursing (DON) and the nursing team to implement systems and processes that ensure the facility meets the medical, physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the DON, understanding the DON's job description to help in duties as necessary and manage the facility during the absence of the Administrator and DON.
• Support overall facility goals, policies, and chain of command.
• Serve as a resource nurse for patient care questions or issues.
• Monitor patient care and environment through daily rounds, independently and with the DON.
• Oversee clinical systems in the facility, including infection control (acting as the Infection Preventionist), skin integrity, and fall reduction/management teams.
• Assist with system and process education for the nursing team and conduct ongoing in-service training based on QAPI initiatives.
• Address, research, and resolve complaints or concerns regarding new admissions.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and coaching the nursing staff.
• Perform chart audits to ensure proper care, treatments, and documentation.
• Participate as a member of the Infection Control and QAPI Teams.
• Support nursing meetings across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, RN license, and current licensure in the practicing state.
• Clinical leadership experience and strong attention to detail to ensure appropriate clinical oversight and leadership for excellent care delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, system/process analysis, and critical thinking skills.
• Must be in good health.
