Job summary

Catholic Charities New Hampshire seeks a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) for Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH. This full-time role supports the Director of Nursing Services, guiding daily operations, nursing staff, and resident care quality.

The ADNS will help turn care standards into consistent daily practice, coordinate with other resident services, and participate in on-call coverage with other nurse managers.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in long-term care.
  • CPR/BCLS and IV certifications current.

Responsibilities

  • Support nursing operations: assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the department's daily functions.
  • Promote coordinated care: help coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
  • Strengthen quality: assist with quality review and systems management to identify opportunities for improvement and support effective nursing practices.
  • Provide leadership: work with the nursing management team to support staff and uphold person-centered care standards.
  • Share on-call coverage: participate in on-call rotation with the Director of Nursing Services and other nurse managers.

  • Current CPR/BCLS and IV certifications.
